Online event: Behaviour in practice

The pandemic has highlighted the importance of mental health and with this, many organisations and practitioners are looking for support in navigating changes in the environments of those in their care.. The environment early years educators provide can make a significant contribution to the healthy mental development of the children in their care and those working in social and residential care play a large role in the ability of cared for individuals to feel safe.

That's why we're bringing you this free, interactive and thought-provoking virtual event to support your CPD as well as your personal development in this area. Register now to reserve your space.

What will be covered and what will you gain from this online event?

We know that as a practitioner, creating a space for everyone to be their best self is something that can be tricky to navigate - differing need, resource requirements and changing guidance can all impact on our ability to do what we feel might be right.

This interactive, virtual event will frame understanding need as a fundamental responsibility for early years and care practitioners’ and discuss ways to embed neuroscience into practice.

You’ll leave the event with an understanding of what neuroscience means, how it might work in practice, and to how to better understand the frameworks implementing supportive approaches to behaviour and co-regulation in early years and social care settings.
